Dear Frank, the woods arrived a few minutes ago, and I would like to say a few things: 1.       It show they’ve been packed by someone who loves woods, I assume yourself. This gives a lot of confidence for future cooperation. 2.       The flame top IS awesome!! I can’t wait to finish the guitar and show off to my friends!! 3.       The mahogany is superb!! Thank you for that!! 4.       The headplate is intended to use partial as a back cavity cover plate, AND partial as a truss rod cover, designed as a mini replica from the headstock. So no, I don’t mind it is a little bigger than usual!! All of this equals a VERY HAPPY customer! I will inform you when the guitar is finished.
