my name is frank hoffmeyer
and i am the founder & owner of –holz-faszination—
the company was founded in 2005. My motivation back then was- and still is- my love for wood as a material with its incredible variety of grains and structures.
A completely unique world!
I am a trained carpenter and passed my master craftsman’s examination in this profession in the mid-nineties. A little later, I moved into vocational training and also been working as a teacher for around 20 years.
“what are we doing?”
We offer selected instrument woods, in the form of various precious woods, as blanks,
as they are used in the construction of electric guitars and basses.
There are body woods, neck material, fingerboards, topsets and much more
in spectacular colors and structures.
On average, we always stock around 600 top sets! Long storage times with us,
ensure balanced climate-controlled and conditioned woods…
“how do we do it?”
Throughout Europe, we have very good relationships with Suppliers, Sawmills and top Tonewood Specialists.
We do have best contacts in the USA on the East and West Coast and in Canada as well.
We also have business relationships with companies in Hawaii, South Africa and Vietnam.
With the help of our modern machinery, we`re able to realize the required cuts and also react very individually to your wishes.
