Die roten Bereiche resultieren aus einem anfänglichen “spalting Proßess. Dieser Proßess wird im frischen Zustand eingeleitet und umgehend durch die Trocknung des Holzes beendet. In diesem Stadium ist die Struktur des Holzes genauso fest und solide wie die anderen Bereiche.

The red areas are the result of an initial spalting process. This process is initiated when the wood is fresh and is immediately stopped by drying the wood. At this stage, the structure of the wood is just as strong and solid as the other areas.
